A car passed by the house today,
Not often does that occur.
We even had recent visitors .
That couldn’t believe where they were.

Yes, this is Jersey, we assured them.
It doesn’t get better than this.
To not mention that fact,
I would be remiss.

“So what do folks do here?”
In near disbelief, they inquired.
“Well, the place is one big playground.”
With that they were inspired!

“This is still pretty much country,”
One of them observed.
“Look as far as you can see,” I said,
“Forever it is preserved!”
