And what of this pandemic
Across the world wide ?
Unmerciful panic, so many unknowns,
Hundreds of thousands have already died.

Many unanswered questions,
Speculation has surely flourished.
Those in authority are just guessing
Theories are quickly nourished.

With luck it will be over soon
A bad dream, we hope soon passed.
Someday we’ll tell the memoir
Of when this ghastly pall was cast.

‘‘Tis yet to be determined
The toll that it has taken.
America has born a brunt,
But her resolve never shaken .
