They caw the morning long,
Their sound not terribly becoming .
A softer sound is much preferred,
Less caw and a bit more humming.
But the discordant crow can’t help itself,
Its caw is borderline bawdy.
If it ever listened to itself
That crow would find it haughty.
In fact, Nature built a better bird,
Known, indeed, for its humming.
Far more refined than the haughty crow,
With its caw so unbecoming.
