By Pete Tucker
Each day I sit and listen
And the waves roll in.
The sun perfects the glisten
As the waves roll in.
My thoughts are gently stoked
By the waves rolling in.
Sallow sands are further soaked
As the waves roll in.
Kind fortune has caressed me
Sure as the waves rolling in.
Nature thus besets me,
As her waves keep rolling in
Am I to be thus forsaken?
Lost to waves rolling in.
Each day to only awaken
To the waves rolling in.
Ah, that it be my fate,
As the waves roll in,
That I daily concentrate
On the waves rolling in.
I will gladly acquiesce
To the waves rolling in.
And thanks each day express
To the waves rolling in.
The sun rises, the sun sets
On the waves rolling in.
What scenes our sphere begets!
As the waves roll in.
